This was our first time renting from hidden mountain but it will not be our last, we have already booked for September this year and for June for next year.…

But we loved that you are so close to town but still feel like you are on top of a mountain and away from all the noise and hustle and bustle of town. The 2 pools are not heated but they do tell you before you book, but even when it was 90 or higher the pools were still cold as creek water, and they are very small and get crowded very fast. Now housekeeping is amazing, the house was the cleanest we have stayed in and it had everything we needed to start for vacation. For hidden mountain themselves, the guy working the front desk was so nice and helpful, we asked for an earlier check-in and he said he would do his best and he did, we got to check in around 1:30 pm but the woman that answered the phone when we called to say we needed trash pick up was not and hung the phone up on me. Inside they have plenty of room for 4 people, but my brother and his wife stayed one night and it was a little crowded but we made it work.

We ( me 33, my mother 53, my daughter 13, and my niece 7), stayed in Living the Dream or Cabin 4009, they picked a great name for the house, it has everything you will need, and they have a pool table, ping pong table, and also sitting area with TV on the back deck, hot tub on another part of the deck with two reclining chairs. I emailed them directly about our stay and issues and still have not received a response.… The owner may not be aware of the cleaning issues and just need to be told. Both are listed as an amenity of the rental and we did not have it I give our cabin a 4 but maintenance and staff communication a 2. But you can overlook the few issues with Cabin our main problem was the lack of communication regarding the wifi/cable. Suggest the owner invest in new mattress or box springs as every time we sat in bed it felt like it was going to break. Lucky for us we brought a lot of DVDs for our two grandkids. They came that afternoon and were unable to solve the problem. Stopped at front office in person and reported cable issue. After second day called front desk to report no cable and they promised to send someone to look at it that day. Called the front desk and they told us then about the issue and they were working on it…. Staff did not mention problems at check in and we thought our phones were just not getting a good service. Cabin was okay but is in need of a really good cleaning like closets under the bed and couch and other furniture What was most disappointing was the lack of internet and cable service for our entire 6 day stay. We hope to see you soon in the Smokies!īear Hugs #4045 I wish I could write a glowing review of our stay but unfortunately it was just average. Our original location at Hidden Mountain West offers a more secluded and rustic setting for your mountain adventure.
